"A Revolutionary Way of Thinking" by Dr Charles Krebs.

coverkrebs.jpg

This is a remarkable book and a must read book for two groups of people. Firstly for those of you who are interested in how the brain works, brain integration, how stress effects the brain, and brain optimization. Secondly for anyone with any type of learning disorder such as dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, or health challenge that stems form an apparent 'malfunctioning brain.'

I was extremely fortunate to spend a weekend with Dr Susan McCrossin who worked side by side with Dr Krebs in researching and developing their approach, LEAP, which addresses the problems caused by lack of brain integration. Alphabiotics works wonders, but for anything that didn't clear and correct itself, (that appeared to be linked to stress or lack of brain integration) I would not hesitate to point you in the direction of Susan McCrossin and her fabulous, groundbreaking work LEAP.

"Brain Longevity: The Breakthrough... " by D.S. Khasla, M.D.

coverbl.jpgThis book has been on the best seller list, and I recommended it as a must read to ALL of my clients.

I had been giving lectures on Stress for several years before coming across this book. In all honesty many parts of it were almost word for word my lecture - great minds think alike! (To the best of my knowledge Dr. Khasla has not ever participated in Alphabiotics.)

Dr. Khaslas book Brain Longevity is a wonderful introduction to the lay person of the basics behind the workings of our brain, stress, and how these can cause dis-stress to the well being and balance of the body. Although the book has a focus on the symptoms of Alzheimer's, it offers excellent information and advice.

"I believe Alzheimer's disease can be delayed and prevented. I believe age associated memory impairment can be eradicated..." Dr. Khalsa, M.D.

"The Stress of Life" by Hans Selye, M.D.

CoverStressofL.gifHans Selye's work is famous. In 1975 he revised and updated his book, which gives you the clinical research behind his ground breaking work on how stress effects us physically and chemically. I recommend this book to you if you really have an interest in studying the early research behind the stress response. This will not be for everyone, as it goes into his experiments and findings...
